To Install using FTP

On the IBM i

1) CRTSAVF QGPL/EPICRTSQL

From a Windows command line:

2) FTP IBMisystemname
ftp> Sign in with your user name and password
ftp> binary (set to binary mode)
ftp> PUT DESKTOP/EPICRTSQL.SAVF QGPL/EPICRTSQL

On the IBM i

3) RSTLIB SAVLIB(EPICRTSQL) DEV(*SAVF) 
         SAVF(QGPL/EPICRTSQL)

To run the command:

4) EPICRTSQL/CRTSQL and press F4 to prompt

To activate:

When you run CRTSQL for the very first time it will require 
to be activated. Contact EPI [email protected]  
for your password when requested.

Installing from the CD download

To install CRTSQL on your IBM i:

Using Windows:

1) Burn the unzipped EPICRTSQL file to CD and finalize it.

On the IBM i

2) RSTLIB SAVLIB(EPICRTSQL) DEV(OPT01)

To run the command:

3) EPICRTSQL/CRTSQL and press F4 to prompt

To activate:

When you run CRTSQL for the very first time it will require 
to be activated. Contact EPI [email protected]  
for your password when requested.
